The Pink Motel is one place I never thought I would have the opportunity to skate, but that changed Saturday night. I weaseled my way into Ruffo’s birthday rager with Bill Bill, Seatrell and Tony. Ruffo and family hooked up a pool, tunes, beer and tacos…couldn’t have been a better setting. Smiles from ear to ear on everyone.
Happy birthday, Ruffo

Sorry, I only shot a few, didn’t want to stop skating. Huge thanks to Ruffo, friends and family for an amazing time.

Ok, “The Kid”…Where’s that originate?
In San Jose when I came up, I moved downtown San Jose and I started hanging out with Corey O’Brien, my buddy Reeps. I wasn’t old enough to go to the bar, so they took me under their wing and were like, “You’re ‘The Kid”’” One night Corey said “We’re bringing The Kid,” and it just stuck.
