Tim Metz was in town doing the skatepark/backyard tour this last week. Chicken’s was the final stop. Only got a few (weak) shots.

Our good friend, Theo Hetherington, will be having an art show at Hairajuku Salon in Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday, Dec 7. Check theostyle.wordpress.com for more info.

Since there has not been much news regarding Chi Cheng’s health, I thought I’d post up something slightly Deftones related. This is from Deftones’ frontman, Chino Moreno’s side project, Team Sleep. One of their first live performances in 2001 and I was actually in attendance. Some of the album had leaked on the internet prior to this show, so people had an idea of what to expect. What I didn’t expect was that I was about to witness some of the most insane drumming I had ever seen. Enter Mr. Zach Hill around the 5 minute mark. This clip is a little long, but worth the wait. When the album leaked, this track was called “Natalie Portman.” It ended up as “Live from the Stage” on the self titled full length release…this version is better.

I don’t know what this is called…disaster on the side of the extention? It’s sick, whatever it is!

Feeble to Fakie on the big wall.
