Another local band that isn’t together anymore, but I believe they are working on something new. Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/foreverwingsfold. Rock ‘n Roll!

To get in the holiday spirit I thought I’d share a little something from my favorite Christmas album, The Vandals, Oi to the World.
Tige told me a story a long time ago about Good Riddance. He was on tour with them and Ignite and he took a dump on the hood of Good Riddance’s tour van. They got mad and went home. (I don’t think it was actually Tige doing the dumping, but it is funnier that way.)
edit: It was Tige, but he was a bit gun shy, so Casey stepped in and laid down the law.
Anyways, an awesome band that doesn’t like poop on their van.

Chesterfield King. Classic.
Since there has not been much news regarding Chi Cheng’s health, I thought I’d post up something slightly Deftones related. This is from Deftones’ frontman, Chino Moreno’s side project, Team Sleep. One of their first live performances in 2001 and I was actually in attendance. Some of the album had leaked on the internet prior to this show, so people had an idea of what to expect. What I didn’t expect was that I was about to witness some of the most insane drumming I had ever seen. Enter Mr. Zach Hill around the 5 minute mark. This clip is a little long, but worth the wait. When the album leaked, this track was called “Natalie Portman.” It ended up as “Live from the Stage” on the self titled full length release…this version is better.
