I was fortunate enough to see this band a handful of times back in ’00 – ’02 before the Ozzfest plague swept up them, and all the other semi-metal influenced hardcore bands for the worldwide tours. (Modern) Hardcore fully died once this happened. Unearth was one of my favorites- as each new album approached, you knew what you were going to get. The same production, sound quality, NO VOCAL CHANGES, and an extremely consistent art direction.
I don’t care about As I Lay Dying, nor do I care about August Burns Red or whatever… I like breakdowns and riffs that make me want to murder my family and start yet another mass genocide; not bands that make me want to write poetry to my current pierced/tatted ‘suicide girls’-esque GF and then splatter some blood on it just for sentiment.
cause I know I sure as hell am…
This rain is seriously destroying my bank account; I have nothing to do- so I buy records. Yay. The upside, is that I found this limited picture disc of Slayers Live Undead album. It’s ridiculous. I almost jumped out my window while listening to it. I decided not to though. I then proceeded to break every single object in my household- my roommates will not be happy…
I think in an attempt to make them happy- and forget about the destroyed house, I’m going to get this printed and framed to put above our fireplace. I don’t think either of them appreciate Saved By the Bell- nor do they Slayer…But I’m pretty sure even my dad would laugh at this- and he doesn’t even know who Slater is. Rain rain go away I can’t listen to Slayer anymore today (or I will take over my entire neighborhood wearing WWII gear and will equip myself with a bayonet just for added fun).

Just when you thought I couldn’t get enough jams between Phish & The Dead- WRONG. Enter the Disco Biscuits- a lil bitta trans-fusion/jams for the brain. Its like a rave, mixed with phish jams- but like, 80,000x the amount of drugs at a typical jam band show…
This sign was on a patio that was about 10′ wide, and 15′ long- making it much more than impossible to even attempt skating, let alone getting a single push in… I found this beyond humorous.
The photo below is a prime example of why I’m no longer a huge fan of current skateboard photography, or me personally shooting skateboarding.
I remember this day quite vividly (surprisingly)- I looked over and saw four (4) photographers in the deep end during an ok session I guess, and I just died laughing. There were no pros, no big tricks, no scenery, lots of pads, and it was at a skatepark- not ideal shooting conditions in my personal opinion. Scotts wife, Shae shot this photo of me standing next to the skate paparazzi. I don’t even think I brought my equipment with me anymore after this day…
