Chino 1/4/09.
Was heading out to Fontana this morning when I got the word that it was closed due to high winds. So we all detoured it to Chino for an awesome session.

A few things I want to try and accomplish this year is to skate some new places and shoot some different shots. Well, I skated Channel Street for the first time today with Chris. Got there early and the crowd was thin. Place is not easy to skate by any means, but is super fun. Although a majority of my shots look like ass, at least I hit a new park. Here are a few I managed to salvage.

Here’s to 2009!
TV on the Radio.
Santa brought me a bunch of new camera gear. most of which will not help me take a better photo. Here are some shots with my new Nikon 50mm, f/1.8 lens.

Tony with the snow caps.
Went down to Oceanside to check out the grand opening Saturday and to shoot some pics for SoCalSkateparks.com. Park is pretty fun, small flow section with a squarish horseshoe with tile and pool coping at the end connected to a street/bank area. Saying this park is crowded is an understatement. Not really somewhere I would recommend going out of your way to skate, but worth rolling around in if you are in the area.

To get in the holiday spirit I thought I’d share a little something from my favorite Christmas album, The Vandals, Oi to the World.
Shot a few pics at the Upland contest last weekend…
Tristan Rennie
Art Miranda warms up with a big ol’ boneless (shot late. sue me.)
Julian Scholl, tailgrab with style.
Kevin Burke, goes berserk
5-0. Give him a hand, because I just cut his off.
Julie Kindstrand, FSA into the pipe.
Nick Chism. Kind of looks like a tailtap on the pipe, it’s not…just a huge F-ing air!
Perry Starkey, mach 10 into 1st place.
On the second day, Theo and I decided to paint the thing…
I was looking thru some old photos and founds these from April 2005. Shawn was redoing his pool, so we got few days to destroy it. Brant, Shannon and I think Kannon (it’s been a while) came over to help.
