Shredtastic Saturday.

The good people at Vans and World Cup Skateboarding held the first Am-Tec Pool Party at the Combi this past Saturday. Danimal and DeWit hooked me up with a media pass to shoot some pics of the groms. These little bastards were ripping the place to pieces. The future is looking pretty bright…that is until they find girls and they quit skating.

I couldn’t hang any longer, so I ditched the finals and headed down south to check out the Bones Video premiere at SoCal Skateshop. Over 100 people showed up, Mumma was out back grilling dogs and a heated session was going down on the shop ramp.

Tristan didn’t get enough skating the Combi contest all day, so he finds the most ridiculous board and lays one down.

20 Years of Bellmar.

Indy Legends and young guns had a locked down session at the infamous Bellmar Skate Ranch to celebrate 20 years of the death bowl. This is the best footage I have seen I a long time.

Diaper Bowl.

T makes the list.

12 year old, Tristan Rennie, has made it onto the very short list of those who have made it over the stairs at Ridiculous…definitely the youngest.

Pipeline Reunion 7/31/10.

A reunion for the infamous Pipeline Skatepark was held last Saturday. Huge turnout of guys that used to localize the park back in the 80’s and a bunch of new groms ripping it. Sam, Ozzie and I hit a few pools before heading to the Upland Skatepark to check out the festivities. I handed off the camera to Ozzie and this is what he got.

Eddie’s 7/3/10.

Finally made it over to this skate funzone Eddie has been talking about. The pool has nice transition in the deep, but the shallow is pretty much unridable…making it a little challenging. It only took KB and Tristan and few runs to get it figured out.
